The beam creels can be designed to run 8 to 32 beams. The beams are supported on each side with frictionless ball bearings and a pneumatic loaded band brake on one side. A load cell roll located at the entrance to the size box is used to provide consistent tension from start to final and in all running conditions. The creel configuration can be supplied in a stationary or three different magazine styles. The illustration below shows all four creel configurations and the required work area necessary which is the highlighted tan area. Many factors are used in deciding which creel type is best for each application, production requirement, available space, room design and creel size. We have a creel option to meet any requirement.
